The local chapter of the Federal Bar Association is seeking two law student representatives to serve as liaisons between the organization and the student body.
Qualifications
(1) An interest in federal practice
(2) The ability to honor the time commitment.
The time commitment includes attending monthly board meetings (that will occur in the evening and during the lunch hour), one to two social events and two continuing legal education events off-campus as well as talking to students on campus about the organization and its events.
These positions provide a great opportunity to meet federal judges and law clerks. You also will be interacting with federal attorneys who practice in a wide range of areas such as government, criminal law, constitutional law, antitrust, immigration and more.
