The Immigration Unit of Gulfcoast Legal Services, Inc. is seeking a law student to assist in its project for the summer of 2010. Typical clients of the Project include victims of domestic violence seeking VAWA Self Petitions, victims of serious crimes seeking U-Visas, unaccompanied minors applying for residence through Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and victims of persecution seeking asylum status.
The position is located in the St. Petersburg Office of Gulfcoast Legal Services. It is an unpaid however students may apply for a stipend under the Equal Justice Works Summer Corps providing the students works a minimum of 300 hours.
