11 A.M. The Honorable Robert W. Hodges (JD 90), Fifth Judicial Circuit in and for Marion County, will discuss what he expects from attorneys in the courtroom and how to best prepare to stand before a judge. Hodges currently works on the family law docket. He was a state attorney after graduating from UF Law.12 P.M. Information session by Fastcase, a free legal search engine for licensed attorneys in Florida. Pizza will be served.
2 P.M. Attorney Bill Beck (JD 07) will discuss what it takes to open a practice and how to be successful in a legal career. Beck, a solo practitioner, worked as a staff attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit and later started his own practice in Tarpon Springs.
